Bicycle Station owner and founder Mike Rodriguez has over thirty years of experience with bicycles. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Mike's passion for bikes began at early age. He started working in a bike shop when he was ten, washing bikes for his childhood mentor Lenny Stevens, and never looked back.

A veteran racer and mechanic, Mike honed his skills in numerous shops throughout New York City before establishing his first shop in 1992, Open Road Cycles, on Flatbush Avenue in Park Slope. Bicycle Station on Vanderbilt Avenue soon followed, where his shop helped establish what is now a fast-growing business area of Prospect Heights.

His recent move to Park Avenue in Fort Greene makes for a strategic and convenient pit stop for bikers on their way to or from Manhattan or Prospect Park, and follows with Mike's pioneering and unpretentious attitude.

Bicycle Station is a service-oriented shop that welcomes bikers of all skill and experience levels.
